It's WIRED week!

Faithful Customers,

It's that time of year again! WIRED week is June 24th-28th. Some of you may already know a lot about this summer camp, but we want to ensure that all of you are familiar with what takes place during this awesome week each year.

BEGINNINGS: WIRED began in 2008 and has taken place each summer since then.  WIRED is a weeklong mission camp that exists to "wire" local churches, businesses, and service organizations together for a common good: impacting our community by meeting needs for the glory of God. The camp started with only 250 student participants but has since increased to nearly 1,000.

OVERVIEW: During WIRED week, middle school, high school, and college students along with adult leaders serve throughout the Wiregrass doing construction projects, sports camps, Vacation Bible Schools (VBS), and social ministries. Thousands of lives have been touched as a result of this camp. Every night during the week, these groups gather to worship together at the Dothan Civic Center.

EAGLE EYE PARTNERSHIP: Eagle Eye has a unique privilege with WIRED.  Our owner, Mark Anderson, serves as the camp director, and many of our staff work at the camp in some capacity. Additionally, Eagle Eye's financial support is an essential component of WIRED's existence.  In past years, Eagle Eye has closed Monday through Thursday of WIRED week so our entire staff could serve each of those days.

THIS YEAR: This year things will be a little different.  We will remain open for business but will operate with a much smaller staff. Store hours will be 9 AM - 6 PM. This will allow us to accomplish two objectives: First, it will allow us the opportunity to serve throughout the week as we rotate staff from the store to ministry sites. Second, we will be able to make an even stronger financial contribution this year than in years past.

OUR INVESTMENT: With all of that being said, Eagle Eye has committed to donating all of this week's sales to WIRED.  We don't want to promote this in a self-serving manner; our goal is not for Eagle Eye to be recognized but for the Lord's work to continue in our community. The Wiregrass is full of great people, churches, and civic organizations committed to impacting the lives of others.  We are happy to be one of the many doing so in this area.

Next time you shop with us, please ask some of our store staff about this camp. Each staff member will have his/her own WIRED experiences to share.  As always, we appreciate all of your continued support & patronage!

Our customers and God's provision are the reason we have a business and are able to serve our community.

Thank you!
EEO Owners & Staff
