June 21: Tim Tebow and Mark Schultz Event
Matthew 23:12 Promotions, LLC presents TIm Tebow with musical guest Mark Schultz. The event will be held Friday June 21 at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40. Children twelve and under will be admitted free with a canned food donation for the Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank. Proceeds will benefit several local nonprofits. June 23-28: WIRED WEEK!
This annual youth missions conference focuses on community service in and around Dothan. Youth groups from dozens of area churches join together to study God's word, worship Him through music and serve their community in a number of ways including construction projects, social work, VBS at local apartments and housing projects, etc. This year's speaker is Acton Bowen, and worship will be led by Brett Younker. The public may participate in the evening teaching and worship sessions at the Dothan Civic Center by purchasing an arm band for $50. Friday night's session is free and open to the public.
