Employee News

Occasionally we hope to update you on what's happening in the lives of our fantastic staff and also let you know when we have new folks join the team.  Here's a little recap of the last month.

  • We want to welcome new hires Kellie Jones, Jessica Tolbert, Zach Brown and Julie Sanders to the EEO Team! The ladies bring their smiling faces and bubbly personalities to Eagle Eye as cashiers.  Zach, a Marine, is a hardworking warehouse clerk.  We are so glad to have each of you!

EEO's 4th Annual Outreach Weeks

It is time again for Eagle Eye Outfitters' Annual Outreach Weeks!  This year we have lofty goals, and we need your help!

Due to your overwhelming generosity the last three years, we have been able to collect more than 7500 items to donate to local ministries and Soles4Souls.  This year we aim to collect and distribute 5000 blankets, jackets, shirts, jeans and pairs of shoes!

For each gently used item or pair of shoes you bring in, you will receive a $10 off coupon from EEO to show our appreciation for your contributions.  Bring in five items, get five coupons! Bring in ten, get ten coupons! We encourage individuals and families as well as all school, civic and church groups to participate from now until October 20, 2012.

This year donations will be distributed to the following local ministries: Mama Tina's Mission House, Love in Action Ministries and the CBA Ministry Center.  All shoes will be donated to Soles4Souls.

For more information on what Outreach Weeks is about, visit our Web site's "Why We Do What We Do" page.  For more details on this event, please feel free to ask our staff, leave a comment, call us at (334)673-2878 or email us at info@eagleeyedothan.com.

Thank you for your willingness to partner with us and give to those in need.

October 1-20: Fourth Annual Outreach Weeks
Each year, because of your generosity we are able to donate thousands of items to local nonprofit ministries and Soles4Souls.  Bring in gently used jackets, shirts, jeans, shoes and blankets and receive a $10 off coupon for EACH item you donate.

October 10, 6:30 pm: Wiregrass Fields of Faith
Join us at Northcutt Field and take a stand alongside thousands of students for this Fellowship of Christian Athletes event.  Across the nation, students will gather on athletic fields to hear fellow students' testimonies and to challenge each other to read the Bible and come to faith in Jesus Christ.  The event will feature Subject to Change, a local praise band led by Eagle Eye employees.

October 19-20: SAMC's Champions of Hope
This annual event honoring those touched by breast cancer and benefiting the Southeast Alabama Medical Center Foundation will feature a 5K Run, a 2-Mile Spirit Walk, a Kid Fit Challenge and a 25- & 45- Mile Cycling Event.  EEO will have a booth set up on Friday night for the Pasta Dinner Kickoff and Saturday morning for the race and will display the breast cancer awareness collections from our top vendors.

October 27: The Dothan Eagle's Dead Man Running 5K
The first annual Dead Man Running 5K will be held in downtown Dothan.  Participants may run or walk the race course and are encouraged to dress up in costumes.  EEO is a sponsor for the event and will provide prizes to the winners.  Proceeds from the event will provide newspapers to area classrooms.
